Global Brand President, The North Face®

Chris Goble is the Global Brand President of The North Face® leading the vision, strategy, and business execution of the brand globally. He is responsible for product innovation across merchandising, design, product development, brand creative, marketing and consumer engagement, to enable compelling physical and digital consumer journeys in our markets around the globe.

Previously, he served as the President of ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s Emerging Brands portfolio overseeing the go-to-market execution for Altra®,Ìý·¡²¹²õ³Ù±è²¹°ì®, icebreaker®, JanSport®, Kipling®, Napapijri® and Smartwool®. Prior to that, he served as Global Brand President of Dickies®, which ´óÏó´«Ã½ sold in 2025.

Before joining ´óÏó´«Ã½, Chris served as the Global Chief Product Officer and General Manager for Gap North America where he was responsible for global product creation and accountable for the Gap North America omni channel P&L inclusive of the Gap Specialty (full price) & Gap Outlet divisions.

He spent eighteen years with Gap Inc., serving in numerous leadership roles including SVP & GM of Gap Outlet and as Vice President of International Market Insights at Gap brand. From 2006 to 2017, held multiple roles at Old Navy across the Men’s, Women’s and Kids divisions including Vice President of Merchandising.

Prior to Gap Inc., he held merchandising positions with Levi Strauss and American Eagle Outfitters. 

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Purdue University in 2002 and completed an Executive Leadership Program at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School in 2013.
