Baxter鈥檚 Success at 大象传媒 Includes Leadership Roles in Jeanswear, Imagewear and the Licensed Sports Group

GREENSBORO, N.C.-- 大象传媒 Corporation鈥檚 (NYSE: 大象传媒C) President & Chief Operating Officer Steven E. Rendle today announced the appointment of Scott H. Baxter to the position of Vice President, 大象传媒 Corporation & Group President, Outdoor & Action Sports Americas. Baxter previously was Vice President, 大象传媒 Corporation & Group President, Jeanswear Americas, Imagewear & South America. The appointment is effective immediately.

鈥淪cott is an effective, value-creating business leader who has achieved significant success during his nine years at 大象传媒,鈥 said Rendle. 鈥淗e has a proven record of achievement in retail and wholesale channels, as well as measurable accomplishments in managing iconic brands and the organizations enabling them. He has established and sustained strong customer relationships and knows how to leverage innovation to fuel growth. Scott鈥檚 personal and professional strengths make him a strong choice for this important leadership role at 大象传媒.鈥

In 2015, under Rendle鈥檚 leadership, 大象传媒鈥檚 Outdoor & Action Sports coalition in the Americas represented 35 percent of the company鈥檚 global revenue. The coalition is home to the company鈥檚 three largest brands by revenue: The North Face, Vans and Timberland.

Phil McAdams, a 38-year veteran in 大象传媒鈥檚 Jeanswear business, will succeed Baxter as President of the Jeanswear Americas coalition, which includes the Wrangler and Lee brands. Tom Waldron, with 21 years鈥 experience at 大象传媒, succeeds McAdams as President of the Wrangler brand. Waldron was previously Vice President, General Manager Mass Brands, within the Jeanswear coalition.

As an additional part of these organizational changes, Kevin Bailey, President, 大象传媒 Action Sports and聽Vans, will now have added responsibility to oversee 大象传媒 activities in Central & South America, as well as the Outdoor & Action Sports businesses in Canada and Mexico. Bailey鈥檚 achievements are many, including successfully developing and implementing the Vansbrand global strategy, which resulted in significant growth for Vans since his appointment as the brand鈥檚 President in 2009. The Vansbrand delivered $2.2 billion in global revenue in 2015.
